Cheryl Cole has spoken out about how tough it is to keep a marriage alive and admits she sings from the heart in her single Fight For This Love.
‘I’m sure a lot of women feel exactly the same,’ she says. Every woman who has been in a relationship knows what I’m talking about.
‘You don’t have to just give up with two people who love each other have a few problems.’
Cheryl, 26, has put the 2008 claims by single mum Aimee Walton that she had sex with husband Ashley, 29, behind her and is committed to the Chelsea football player.
‘I’ve never defended him and I don’t want to go into this subject. But my message is still the same. If it’s worth fighting for, then fight.
‘And in the case of me and my husband, it’s worth it. We love each other.’
Cheryl – who has Mrs Cole tattooed on her neck – says it’s unrealistic to expect human beings to be perfect.
‘Sometimes one of you makes a mistake, sometimes the other,’ she tells Hello! ‘Nevertheless, anyone who throws in the towel ends up achieving nothing.’
