I’m already worried about how I’m going to pay for Christmas.
This year our mortgage has gone up, my other half was made redundant (thankfully he’s got another job now) and what with the general hike in prices of, well, everything, it’s going to be tight to say the least.
I want to be able to give my family presents (my friends and I have already agreed a gift-boycott!) but I’m stuck for what to do.
Last year I made everyone jam, but it took about three attempts – I never was very talented in the kitchen – and after buying ingredients and the jars themselves, it ended up costing me a fortune!
My family are always so generous at Christmas and I really want to make something thoughtful that isn’t going to cost the earth. Does anyone have any genius ideas for me?
