EastEnders bosses have announced 4 characters are being written out of the programme.
Lauren Branning (Madeline Duggan, 15), Ben Mitchell (Charlie Jones, 13), Zsa Zsa Carter (Emer Kenny) and Leon Small (Sam Attwater) will leave Albert Square later this year.
New executive producer Bryan Kirkwood has still not revealed the details of their exit storylines.
‘Charlie and Madeline will be leaving EastEnders later this year,’ confirms a show spokesperson.
‘They have been a pleasure to work with and we wish them all the best for the future.’
Actors Emer, 20, and Sam, 24, first appeared in online spin-off E20 before joining the main soap earlier this year.
‘They have made a real impact in the short time they’ve been on the Square and we wish them all the best for the future,’ says Bryan.
‘Of course, we look forward to continuing working with Emer in her capacity as a writer on EastEnders: E20.’
