Fancy a fancy?

Sometimes I come back from holiday, or a few days off to find a whole pile of empty boxes on my desk. If they’re addressed to me, my assistant opens them just in case they contain any food that’ll spoil before I get back. Or just in case they contain food that won’t spoil, but the team could probably get away with eating before I get back. At least I get to keep the press information inside so I can see what I could’ve eaten…

You may remember a while back I was sent some ice cream in all sorts of strange flavours like haggis and cheese. But this week I’ve been sent the absolute best food present so far. Remember Mr Kipling’s French fancies? Those square cakes covered in pink or yellow icing with creamy lumps on top? Ooh they take me right back to my childhood, they do. Well this week I’ve been sent a giant French fancy!! A giant yellow, glorious French fancy. Oh it made our day. The team thought it was the best thing ever, Jolene rushed off to get a knife and Louise immediately put the kettle on. What a lovely afternoon treat!
