George Michael has been given an 8-week prison sentence.
The singer, real name Georgios Panayiotou, received the jail term at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court yesterday for crashing his car while under the influence of cannabis.
George, 47, was arrested in July after driving his Range Rover into a Snappy Snaps store in Hampstead, north London.
He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and cannabis possession at a hearing last month.
George has also been given a five-year driving ban and fined £1,250.
He will serve 4 weeks behind bars, before completing the rest of his sentence on probation.
