It’s sad to hear that Madonna and Guy Ritchie have decided to get a divorce, but given the rumours over the last few months, it’s no surprise.
What I was more surprised to see was that the divorce featured on the BBC 10 O’Clock News the other night.
Is the divorce of a singer and film director more important than hearing about the trials of the murdered schoolboy Rhys Jones or teenager Hannah Jones?
I’d have thought that the US presidential election was more important.
Even the England football result against Belarus should have been higher up the news, in my opinion.
Call me old-fashioned but I think news bulletins should be about big events, not something that’s connected with entertainment.
