It’s not that cold, is it?

I think most people would agree that October has been a pretty good month for weather.

It’s been sunny most days and has been unseasonably warm, as well. Oddly, though, the people who catch my train in the morning don’t seem to have noticed this.

Earlier this week I saw a whole host of people wearing hats, big thick overcoats and scarves. Some are even wearing gloves already.

Have I missed something? Do they think they’re protecting themselves against coughs and colds?

I’m not suggesting we should all be going round in T-shirts and shorts, but it’s really not that cold, is it?

Goodness only knows what these people will be wearing by time December and January come round.
