The Dolmio Roasted Vegetable Macaroni Bake week has taken top spot for the Hirst family from Leeds, with mum Rachel claiming it as her favourite of the Dolmio recipes they have made so far. Why was it such a hit? Read on to find out what Rachel and her family loved most about it…
“All the different colours in the meal looked and tasted delicious and so healthy. It’s great for me as it contains so many vitamins – from the vegetables and the tomatoes in the sauce and it’s filling and tasty at the same time as being low fat.
This cost under £5.00 to make and as you can see from the photos it made a huge dish .
My dad came to visit and stayed for tea and even took a portion home for my mum who has since rang me for the ingredients list and cooking instructions.
I really cannot believe how easy this was to make and most things came from my cupboard – the oil, the pasta, any vegetables you want to throw in and the vegetable stock cubes. Its a vegetarian dish but all members of the family will enjoy it.”
