Strictly Come Dancing: the line-up and the bust-ups

Rumour has it one celebrity is already fed up with the pressure of the show and threatened to walk out. What’s going on in Strictly Come Dancing series 6?

Series 6 male celebs are TV presenter Andrew Castle, Holby City’s Tom Chambers, actor Phil Daniels, Olympic swimmer Mark Foster, rugby star Austin Healey, chef Gary Rhodes, political broadcaster and journalist John Sergeant and actor Don Warrington take the floor.

The female stars are TV presenter Christine Bleakley, model and TV presenter Jodie Kidd, actress Cherie Lunghi, singer Heather Small, TV presenter and model Lisa Snowdon, singer Rachel Stevens and actresses Gillian Taylforth and Jessie Wallace.

The stars start things off with a waltz or cha-cha-cha with Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli judging their performances.
In week 2 they all swap around and one of the female dancers will exit.

We heard that Christine Bleakley is already thinking of quitting since her partner, Matthew Cutler, has put pressure on her to do as well as last year’s winner, Alesha Dixon.
