If you saw a little boy shivering without a coat, on a freezing cold snowy day, would you give him yours? Or maybe your scarf and gloves? We’d like to think that we would – and, we’re sure you would too.
Well, the kindess of humanity has been put to the test in the snowy city of Oslo, in Norway, where a camera was rigged and this exact test was put into the hands of the public.
What do you think happened? Watch the video below to see…
(Video translations: What would you do if you saw a freezing child? We set up a hidden camera and placed Johannes at a bus stop in Oslo, Norway. This is what happened.)
And weren’t the results heart-warming?
There was, however, a much more serious and important point to this lovely video. It was created by SOS Children’s Villages to raise awareness, and funds, for the children of Syria. Their campaign is working towards providing warm clothing for the displaced children in Syria.
Yes, it was lovely to see the kind acts from the people of Oslo, but Synne Ronning, from SOS Children’s Villages Norway, makes a good point: ‘People should care as much about children in Syria as they care about this boy.’
