Actress Ashley Jensen is mourning the loss of her husband Terence Beesley, who has died at the age of just 60.
A spokesperson for the Extras star confirmed the tragic news in a statement which read: ‘Ashley is devastated and respectfully asks for privacy at this extremely sad and difficult time.’
Terence, an actor himself, most recently appearing in ITV drama Victoria, was reportedly found unconscious at the family home at the end of last month, and later passed away. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.
The couple share a son, Francis Jonathan Beesley, whom they welcomed in October 2009.
‘It is with great sadness that I can confirm that Terence passed away at the end of November,’ a representative for Terence said to The Sun.

A source added to the paper: ‘Nobody saw this coming. Terence and Ashley’s friends and family are all devastated. This is a heartbreaking time for them.’
Ashley and Terence met in 1999 when they were working on a stage production of King Lear in London, and tied the knot in America eight years later. Their first child arrived the following year.
In November 2017, Ashley explained during an interview with iNews that the pair decided to return to the UK to raise their son because she ‘wanted to come back to a culture which she understood’.
‘I could work a lot more than I do, but I choose not to because I want to be somebody’s mum as well,’ she admitted. ‘To do that well, you have to be able to commit a certain amount of time to that little person.’
‘There’s guilt when you’re not working because you’re enjoying playing Lego and there’s guilt when you are working, because you’re not at home playing Lego.’
