Felicity Jones marries boyfriend Charles Guard in secret Cotswolds wedding

Felicity Jones and her boyfriend of three years Charles Guard have secretly married.

The Theory of Everything actress and her film director beau exchanged wedding vows in front of an A-list crowd, including Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hanks, at Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, on Saturday, her spokesperson confirmed to Entertainment Tonight.

According to The Sun, the bride wore an elegant full-sleeved white gown with sheer fabric above the bust and a frilled neck.

She slicked her wavy dark hair back beneath a classic mesh veil that fell to the floor.

Felicity is also said to have made a speech at the ceremony.

Her groom cut a dapper figure in a three-piece suit with silver trousers, a black jacket and a pale yellow waistcoat. He is also believed to have worn a sky blue tie over a white dress shirt, which he popped a flower in his lapel for his special day.

Their majestic wedding venue is the only private castle in England to have a queen buried within its grounds, Katherine Parr, the last of Henry VIII’s six wives.

The duo has been together since 2015 and have been notoriously private during their three years together.

The Uninvited director popped the question in May 2017 after two years of dating, with Felicity showing off a diamond sparkler on the red carpet in June 2017. However, the couple did not officially confirm their engagement.

While promoting The Theory of Everything in 2014, Felicity opened up about love in an interview with The Telegraph.

She said: ‘I am definitely romantic and I love romantic stories — that’s why I keep making romantic movies.

‘It’s funny how seeing a love story never gets boring because it’s the dream isn’t it? It’s the dream to have a true connection with another human being.’

In 2013, the British beauty split from sculptor Ed Fornieles, who she was dating for ten years after meeting at University in Oxford.
