Holly Willoughby fans were left floored last night after the TV star shared a snap of her outfit before attending the annual ITV Gala. However, not everyone was quick to compliment the stunning star on her appearance, with some quick to criticise the mum-of-three for her weight loss instead.
Last night, the stars were out in force to attend an ITV Gala bash at the London Palladium. All of the channel’s biggest stars were in attendance, from Coronation Street soap stars to ITV’s most successful presenters.
No star-studded ITV line-up would be complete without the darling on morning television Holly Willoughby, who looked sensational in a black tuxedo-style gown by brand Pallas Paris.
The 36-year-old shared a snap of her outfit before the night began, posting a photo on Instagram with the caption: ‘And it’s off to the @itv gala we go! Excited to see the family all together.’

‘Looking gorgeous mrs but please don’t go too thin’ commented one of Holly’s followers, while another claimed she was ‘hardly recognisable’.
‘Looks like you’ve lost a lot of weight’ wrote one concerned fan, with someone else even going so far as to say ‘Can we have the old Holly back?? You looked so much better with your curves.’
Holly Willoughby’s weight loss has been the subject of much discussion and concern from her fans over the last few months. A recent snap of Holly on holiday had critics claiming the star had lost her ‘enviable shape’.
However, most of Holly’s supporters thought the star looked fabulous, and even compared her to Marilyn Monroe and actress Sharon Stone. ‘Beautiful’, ‘stunning’ and ‘gorgeous’ were just some of the compliments heaped on Holly in the comments on her post.
Talking about the secret to her amazing style on the red carpet last night, Holly admitted that although she ‘loves fashion and clothes’ she is actually just very lucky to have an amazing stylist: ‘The thing that I’ve learnt form her is to experiment with shape’ she told reporters.
