Perrie Edwards shares warning with fans after accident with fire

'A little advice from me… STAY AWAY FROM FIRE!'

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has taken to social media to share a warning for her fans, after a terrifying accident when her boiler set on fire.

The 22 year old, who dazzled at the Brits ceremony on Wednesday evening, posted pictures of her burned hand on Twitter, revealing her misfortunate encounter with a boiler.

According to the post she shared with fans, the former X Factor contestant's boiler pilot light blew up and that is what caused the small fire.

Instead of staying away however, Perrie must have tried to tackle the fire, which is how she got the burns in her hands.

After the scary incident, she advised her fans to 'stay away from fire' in a Twitter post, writing: 'So today I had an accident… and be accident I mean I accidentally set myself on fire.

'The pilot light on my boiler blew up and it set my arm/hand on fire. I'm in pain, full of blisters, there's not one hair left on her hand or arm, and it burned the sleeve of my favourite jumper… nightmare. A little advice from me… STAY AWAY FROM FIRE! #StaySafeKids.'

Fans were quick to send their support to the young singer, with some left shocked by the state of her burned hand.

One of her fans wrote: 'Oh my god Perrie thank God it's only your hands, that sounds horrific could've been much worse! Get well darling', while another tweeted: 'Oh Perrie! I'm so glad you're ok! I hope your hand gets better soon boo!'

The band took a break before releasing their new album, Get Weird, and speaking in an interview with Fuse TV, Perrie showed how much she appreciates the support of her fans.

'It's as if we expected to come back and not have the fan base anymore. Fortunately, we have the most dedicated, loyal, amazing fans in the world …' she said.

'We had a bit of time to write the album, find out what we wanted to do, what direction we wanted to go in. It's been nice to have that and come back stronger than ever.'

The Black Magic singer will be kicking off the band's tour next month with her bandmates, so we're wishing her a very speedy recovery!
