Former GBBO winner Nancy Birtwhistle also sent her well-wishes: 'Huge congratulations Candice ♥️'.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the baker said she would maybe going to take inspiration from a well-known Hollywood face for her wedding dress.

'We know where, we know when [we're getting married], it's just a case of going to try on some dresses,' Candice told Hello! magazine before her wedding.

'Jennifer Lawrence's dress when she fell off the stairs at the Oscars… I love that dress, I love it. But I don’t know, they say you have to try things on so I could be in a sparkly leotard!'

The 33-year-old was proposed to by Liam last year, after five years together.

Recalling the proposal, Liam described the sweet proposal saying that he took her back to where they had their first date in Bedfordshire.

He then pulled a ring from the glove compartment of his car to pop the question, and Candice's reaction was naturally very emotional.

He told Hello! at the time: 'So I proposed in a car park, but it meant something to us. Candice just cried for five minutes before she could say, “Yes!”'
