Celebrity super-couple David and Victoria Beckham will be among the 1,900 guests at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding on 29 April, sources predict.
Footballer David became close to Wills, 28, during England’s failed World Cup bid, and it’s no secret that Kate’s a fan of Posh’s VB fashion line.
‘The couple have made their own decisions about who to invite, with input from the Queen and Prince Of Wales,’ says a senior courtier.
‘Prince William has led a fairly ordinary life in the military and the couple’s guests reflect this.
‘You can expect to see soldiers and the Prince’s current colleagues, in addition to about 30 representatives from the defence services.’
The royal couple will be welcoming about 200 political figures on their special day – including Prime Minister David Cameron – and 100 royals and dignitaries.
If David and Victoria attend the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, they may also join the lunchtime buffet hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
But it’s probable they’ll go home before the dinner dance, which will hold a more exclusive guestlist of 300.
‘Victoria and David are looking forward to attending,’ a source tells the Daily Star.
‘They’re thrilled for William.
‘They’ve known the prince for years and David has recently become good friends with him.’
