Jeff Brazier has tied the knot with girlfriend with Kate Dwyer in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

The presenter said 'I do' to his girlfriend of five years in Portugal, with sons Bobby, 15, and Freddie, 14, by his side playing the role of best men.

Revealing his joy at becoming a husband for the first-time Jeff told HELLO!: 'I couldn’t be happier. This isn’t just any wedding, this is a really special one.'

The big day comes less than a year after the pair announced their engagement in October, sharing their happy news and love for each other in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with the publication.

Revealing how special it was for Kate to turn their family of three into a family of four, Jeff, 39, gushed at the time: 'We spend some lovely family time together as the four of us. I personally love it when Kate does things with the boys when I'm not around. I know the time Kate has with her family and friends is very precious to her and I know that Kate now realises boys are family.'

He added: 'When she does take the kids with her, everybody always has a good time. That for me makes me feel like I'm marrying the right person.'

Jeff's friend Robbie Savage also couldn't resist sharing a early congratulations to the married couple, tweeting: 'Best of luck to one of our team @jeffbrazier who’s not on the show today cos he’s getting married to @katedwyerPR. Have a great day both of you but make sure you’re back next week mate! Only one Saturday allowed off during the season!'

The marriage marks a fresh start for Jeff and the boys, who sadly lost wife and mum Jade Goody in 2009, when she died of cervical cancer.

This ongoing heartache was highlighted by Kate,29, earlier this year, after she received a touching Mother's Day card from Bobby and Freddie. Welling up with emotion she revealed on Instagram: 'What an unbelievable gesture on a day that is unimaginably unfair for these boys. It’s not long until I am ‘officially’ a stepmum but it only truly counts when you earn the recognition and trust of the children involved.

‘My heart could burst.’

A huge congratulations to Kate and Jeff!
