Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon has admitted that her partner of two years, Joe Swash, won’t see her whilst she’s on her period.
They may have what looks like a picture-perfect relationship – we can’t think of a better suited couple! – but singer Stacey joked that she thinks Joe may be ‘tracking’ her periods as he always seems to avoid her around that time.
Speaking on the ITV show during a discussion about the benefits of hormone tracking for all women, not just those looking to conceive, she asked: ‘How do you guys deal with it? Because I know Joe just literally won’t come around.’
‘I think [Joe] is tracking my periods because he does not come around [when I’m on],’ she quipped with her Tuesday co-stars, Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha and Coleen Nolan.
Stacey and Joe first got together back in 2015, but have been adamant from the start that they’re in no rush to have babies or walk down the aisle (although Stacey has joked more than once that she’d love to make Joe her hubby!).
They’re both parents to children from previous relationships – Stacey is mum to sons Zachary and Leighton, and Joe is dad to Harry, from his previous engagement to Emma Sophocleous.
Both have stressed the important of taking things slowly for the sake of their sons.
‘Because he’s got a little boy and I’ve got two boys, we just want to take our time and make sure they’re super happy and comfortable,’ Stacey said previously to The Sun. ‘We want to do it properly because we do actually like each other, a lot.’
‘I know this sounds really ridiculous and probably boring but we’re just trying to be really sensible. We want to stay together for a long time and I think the key to that is to really know what you’re doing and take your time with it and be sensible.’
