Kaley Cuoco has opened up about her relationship with husband Karl Cook, just a few months after the two tied the knot.
The pair said ‘I do’ around three months ago, and now she’s been opening up about her relationship with husband Karl.
Explaining how she values her independence, the Big Bang Theory star revealed that having Karl in her life is an ‘added bonus’.
She told Women’s Health: ‘I want to see him. I like knowing, though, that I’m [financially] set, because I’ve taken it upon myself to do that.
‘I like to tell my friends, “Always make sure you have your life going, and that you’re No. 1, so that anyone who comes into it—husband, or boyfriend or girlfriend, however you roll—that’s just an added bonus to something you’re already creating.”‘
The actor also added that she doesn’t ‘need’ her husband, in the same way he doesn’t need her either.
‘I don’t need Karl for anything. If Karl left me tomorrow, I’d be fine,’ the 32-year-old said. ‘And he knows that, and he would be fine, too.’
Kaley married Karl in June, after he proposed to her last November during a candlelit dinner.
She shared the news with fans with a series of fun snaps on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote: ‘Legally KCSQUARED 6-30-18 ❤️’.
Gushing about her fiancé, Kaley told E! News after getting engaged: ‘We’re totally going to get married. We are planning it. We are thinking about it. I can’t wait. I don’t want it to be much longer. That’s the truth. I really can’t wait.
‘We are so happy and in love. He is excited as I am, which is sweet. I finally found my soulmate, so we’re ready to do it.’
Before her relationship with Karl, which started in 2016, the Hollywood star was married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting for less than two years, before she filed for divorce in 2015.
