Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have confirmed they are getting married after weeks of speculation.
Singer Nick Jonas, formally part of the boyband the Jonas Brothers, has confirmed that he has asked his girlfriend of just a few months, Priyanka Chopra to marry him.
For weeks there has been speculation that the couple were engaged but neither of them had confirmed the happy news.
Finally, both Nick and Priyanka took to Instagram to confirm what everyone had hoped.
Nick posted a picture from the couple's privae engagement ceremony which took place in Mumbai.
He captioned the image: 'Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love.'
It has received more than 3 million likes and nearly 80,000 comments with one fan writing: ' I'm so happy for both of you.'
Another said: 'Congrats both of u 😍'.
A third added: 'If this isn’t the cutest thing ever then I don’t know what is...'
Priyanka also posted the same picture on her Instagram account which boasts 26.8 million followers. She captioned the picture: 'Taken.. With all my heart and soul..'
At the couple's engagement party they both wore traditional Indian dress and it was a chance for their families to meet and make the couple's union public.
Nick and Priyanka then posted a series of pictures from the engagement ceremony that show their families meeting and the couple praying.
Priyanka is a friend of Meghan Markle and attended her wedding to Prince Harry in May.
Two years ago she was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine and last year Forbes included her in a list of the world's 100 most powerful women.
Priyanka and Nick haven't revealed a date for their wedding but it's possible Meghan and Prince Harry will be high on the list of invitees.
Similar to Meghan, Priyanka is older than her partner Nick. Unlike Harry and Meghan who only have a three year age gap Priyanka and Nick have 11 years between them.
It's thought that Priyanka and Nick met through their agents while at the 2017 Met Gala and rumours that they were dating rocketed in May this year when Priyanka attended Nick's cousin's wedding.
It's been a whirlwind so far but the couple appear to be very happy – congratulations to them both!
