Emma Bunton set to marry boyfriend Jade Jones after 20 years together

The couple have been together for two decades.

Emma Bunton has 'set a date' to marry her boyfriend of 20 years, Jade Jones - eight year afters their engagement!

The Mirror have reported that Spice Girl was seen at Enfield Register Office in North London giving notice of her intent to marry.

The publication also stated that the ceremony will take place at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall.

Emma started dating Damage singer Jade in 1998, and pair eventually shared news of their engagement in 2011.

They  share two children together, Beau, 11 and Tate, seven.

Emma and Jade previously split up in 2002 but reconciled again in 2004, with Emma announcing three years later that she was pregnant with their first child, Beau.

In May 2011, the couple welcomed second son Tate, just over three months after revealing the news of their engagement.

In an interview with Fabulous in 2017, the Spice Girl discussed the possibility of marriage:

'It would be nice, wouldn't it? I should get round to it. He already calls me his wife and I call him my husband.

'We're both Aquarians and a little disorganised, so we never get round to organise anything!'

She continued: 'I'm sure we'll be one of those couples that elope somewhere.'

The singer also admitted just last week that she wouldn't shy away from the prospect of having another child:

'Never say never. I've always been very maternal and I love being around children.'

'I think if I'm lucky enough that would be something wonderful.'

Emma previously asserted that she had intention to ever marry her long-term partner, claiming that they 'don't need a wedding to justify our relationship', but it seems the couple may now have had a change of heart.

Congrats to the happy couple!!
