Former EastEnders actress Melissa Suffield has announced that she’s engaged.
The actress, who was a child soap star when she played Lucy Beale on the popular show for six years, between 2004 and 2010, took to her social media to announce the exciting news.
Sharing the news on her Instagram page, the 26-year-old uploaded a sweet photo of her embracing new fiancé Robert Brendan, and showing off her diamond sparkler on her ring finger.
She captioned the adorable snap with a series of hashtags and emoji symbols, including a red love heart, a diamond ring, a couple holding hands and a bride on her wedding day.

In her post, the ex-soap star also uploaded a second photo that her 8,570 followers could swipe across to showing a close up image of her gorgeous engagement ring, that boasts a whopping 31 diamonds in its design, plus a diamond-encrusted band too.
Friends and followers rushed to congratulate the performer and her cruise director partner on their exciting news.
