Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon announces her engagement

Hayley Tamadon has announced that she is engaged to her partner Adrian – just three weeks after announcing she’s expecting her first child.

The former Emmerdale actress took to social media to share the exciting news that her partner Adrian had popped the question.

Alongside a photo she posted of the beautiful engagement ring on her Twitter page, the expectant mum wrote: ‘HE PROPOSED ..............

‘I said YES!!!!

This year is turning out to be quite wonderful. 💖’

Fans and friends of the star soon rushed to congratulate Hayley on social media.

Coronation Street’s Julia Goulding said: ‘Congratulations to both of you!! Absolutely fantastic news, can’t wait until you’re home so we can celebrate ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.’

Another said: ‘Amazing!! You must both be flying with happiness! Xx ❤️❤️’

Another added: 'And all deserved my lovely !!! Everything xx 😍😍😍😘😘😘 congrats honey x.'

And, it’s a double celebration as the happy news comes just three weeks after the Dancing On Ice champion announced that she is expecting her first child, with a snap of her blossoming baby bump that she shared to her Twitter page.

The mum-to-be wrote: ‘EXCITING NEWS TWEET!! I’m so pleased to tell you all… I’m expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!! I’ve always wanted to be a mum and didn’t think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 – I’M PREGNANT! We couldn’t be happier.’

The Emmerdale star has kept her relationship with Adrian out of the spotlight, so news of her pregnancy came as a shock to fans.

The soap star, who played Delilah Dingle on Emmerdale and Andrea Beckett on Coronation Street, has been in relationship with partner, known only as Adrian, for two years.

Hayley was previously engaged to dancer Darren Charles, but the pair soon separated in 2010. She's also dated Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini..
