Tom Ellis, who stars in Netflix series Lucifer, has tied the knot with his girlfriend Meaghan Oppenheimer.

The 40-year-old - who shot to fame when he played Gary in the hit British sitcom Miranda - has reportedly exchanged vows over the weekend with Meaghan, his partner of four years.

The pair started dating in 2015 and have been engaged since last year.

While details of the ceremony have been kept under wraps, the actor spilled the beans when replying to fans who said they wanted to give them a wedding present. He wrote on Twitter: ‘Thank you to all the people that have been asking about wedding gifts or charitable donations for my upcoming nuptials with @MoppyOpps that is so kind. If you would like to make a donation to @PPFA #plannedparenthood we would be very grateful.’

He also posted a picture with two of his three daughters, revealing that he was enjoying spending time with them ahead of the nuptials.

He wrote, alongside a sweet picture of him with his girls: ‘Hanging out with my girls...in my happy place #weddingweek #blessed 😊❤️😊’

This is Tom’s second marriage, after his high profile relationship with EastEnders Tamzin Outhwaite.

The two got married in June 2006, just a year after they met. The pair had two children together – Florence Elsie, 10, and Marnie Mae Ellis, six.

However, they went their separate ways in 2013, after Tom was unfaithful.

Shortly after the breakup, he was asked by Lorraine on her ITV morning show if the family were coping: ‘Yes. Everyone is ok. We are all good and we are all moving forward.’

Before their split, Tom also spoke about his split from Estelle Morgan, the mother of his first child Nora.

He told Daily Mail back in 2012: ‘I’m not a blokey bloke. I don’t take myself too seriously. But that doesn’t stop me being a bad person sometimes and doing things I regret.

‘Such as having a child with someone you’ve split up with then falling in love and wanting to spend the rest of your life with someone else. That’s quite difficult.’
