Zoe Kravitz tied the knot with her partner, Karl Glusman, at a star-studded ceremony in her father Lenny’s home in Paris on Saturday.
Lenny posted a sweet snap of himself embracing his daughter at the couple’s rehearsal dinner at Restaurant Lapérouse on Instagram, with hundreds of fans rushing to offer their congratulations to the happy couple ahead of their big day.
One wrote: ‘Congratulations to Zoe and her husband - hope you all had a fantastic day of celebrations.’
While another added: ‘Congratulations Zoe. Wish you love and happiness.’
A third continued: ‘Beautiful photo, beautiful day. Beautiful moment! I remember that moment, with my Dad, I held on so tight, wasn’t sure I wanted to let go.’
The intimate ceremony at what People describes as an eight-bedroom three-storey,18-century home in one of the most exclusive areas of the French capital was attended by a roll call of A-listers,
This included Zoe’s Big Little Lies co-stars Laura Dern, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley, as well as actors Chris Pine and Denzel Washington and actress Marisa Tomei.
Zoe, 30, and, Karl, 31 – most known for his role in thriller Nocturnal Animals – have been dating since 2016 after meeting in a bar while with friends and announced their engagement in February last year.
Karl reportedly planned to pop the question in Paris, but conflicting work schedules meant that he eventually opted to ask his girlfriend of two years to become his wife at the home they share.
Decorating their living room with a few simple candles he brandished a ‘Georgian half loop’ ring from antique jeweller The One I Love NYC.
Speaking about the moment Karl got down on one knee, Zoe told Rolling Stone that she loved the pared back nature of the proposal: ‘He nailed it,’ she said, before adding: ‘And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.’
The low-key couple unsurprisingly have yet to make any mention of their wedding on their official Instagram accounts, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll get to see more pictures soon.
Zoe is the daughter of actress Lisa Bonet – best known for her role as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show – who was married to Lenny Kravitz from 1987 to 1993.
