Terrence Howard announces he’s engaged to his ex-wife, after proposing to her over the holidays.
The Empire star shared the lovely news on social media, alongside pictures of the special moment he proposed.
He wrote in the caption: ‘Thank you @benballer@ifandco The Most Gifted Jeweler in The World!!! The series of snaps start with a picture of the beautiful ring he picked, and also includes a video of him making a speech.
In the clip, he’s heard saying: ‘We have an idea of how long we think life is, but we do know how short it can be. It took me 45 years to find you. It took me 45 years to find you.
‘But now that I have you in my 50th year, I will spend the rest of eternity at your side. And I pray that everybody finds that one that will complete them for all eternity because it means everything. I love you.’
Fans were quick to send their well-wishes to the couple, with one writing: ‘Congratulations to you both. I hope it truly lasts for eternity!’
Another wrote: ‘Awww congratulations 🎉🎊 May you enjoy every blessing and happiness you deserve.’
A third added: ‘Hope this time it works out for you both. Wish you both a lot of love to make it last. Congratulations again to you both.’
This will be the second time Terrence and Mira tie the knot, as the couple first got married back in 2013.
Mira was his third wife, as he’s been previously married, but the two got a divorce in July 2015.
However, rumours the two had reconciled were confirmed in October that year, as the TV star tweeted a picture of them together and captioned it ‘Happy Anniversary My Life’s Love!’.
The two have two sons, aged two and three-years-old, and Terrence also has three other children from previous relationships.
