Actress Victoria Yeates secretly married her long-term partner Paul Housden back in June, but managed to keep the ceremony on the ‘down low’.
Reports emerged over the weekend, when pictures from the ceremony were published by a magazine. Eagled-eyed fans however, may have spotted a couple of pictures the actress, who has played the role of Sister Winifred in the hit BBC drama since 2014, shared on her Instagram page in October.
Victoria, who wore a vintage-style lace gown with long-sleeves, captioned the picture: ‘So...we had a little French wedding over the summer! A few shots in the latest Brides Mag but have been keeping on the down low. The most magical of days.'
The picturesque ceremony took place in a 13th century chateau, in the Pyrenees, France, during filming for this year's Call the Midwife Christmas special.
The happy couple were joined by several of Victoria's co-stars including Jenny Agutter, Judy Parfitt, Helen George and Cliff Parisi.

The actress, who was filming her final scenes for the series, told the magazine: 'Loads of the cast came and nipped over between filming.
‘After the ceremony we all ate outside by this river on the grounds. It was quite hippy, simple and all very chilled out.'
A second picture shared by Victoria, who has also starred in The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, shows the couple soon after they'd taken their vows, with the caption: 'Best way to end a wedding is by dancing on the alter #alterdancing #wedding #white #vintage.'
It seems that time of the year holds a special significance for the newly-weds, as Paul proposed to Victoria as she was filming the Call the Midwife Christmas special in 2016. At the time they'd been together for four years.
Earlier this year, Victoria revealed her childhood dream of adopting a baby, telling the Daily Mirror: ‘Ever since I was little, I don’t know why, my mum said I always wanted to adopt, and I was always worried about children that didn’t have anywhere to go,’ she said.
