10. Be careful of leftovers
It’s estimated that there are 120,000 cases of food poisoning during December. Make sure you refrigerate any leftovers within two hours of cooking, otherwise there’s a likelihood that they could become infected.
Once you’ve put your leftover inside the fridge, don’t forget about them – but make sure you eat them within 4 days to avoid food poisoning. And remember, you can reheat leftovers, but only do it once. Anything that’s still not eaten after that has to go in the bin.
