A woman who suffers from eczema and psoriasis has praised a high street cream for clearing up her skin.
Shannon Lauren, from Glasgow, took to Facebook to share her skin transformation after discovering a high street moisturiser that completely cleared up her severe skin problems in just a matter of weeks.
The 22-year-old has suffered from severe eczema and psoriasis for the last three years and has tried a number of different recommended moisturisers and treatments to get rid of the issue, with no avail.
But after giving a Liz Earle body moisturiser a try for a month she found that her skin almost completely cleared up.
‘Hey this is a bit of a long post,’ she wrote on her Facebook page, ‘just hope that it might one day help someone else.
‘For about 3 years I’ve battled with very bad eczema/psoriasis. I’ve tried every cream there is to recommend and literally NOTHING would work,’ explained Shannon.
‘Just about 4 weeks ago my mum told me there was a new moisturiser out by Liz Earle and after smelling it I thought I’d give it a go.’
Posting before and after shots of her psoriasis-ridden arm, Shannon continued: ‘This is after using it for 4 weeks the difference in my skin all over is incredible.’
‘It’s the same arm from a different angle,’ she added.
‘Also added in a different picture from 2 weeks of using the moisturiser since everyone seems to think it’s a different arm – not to mention my eczema is all over both arms aswell.’
The Liz Earle Skin Replenishing Body Balm, which claims to keep skin moisturised for up to 48 hours using a blend of seed oils and extracts along with eight plant butters, is available to buy in Boots for £22.
‘I have to say it was more than worth every penny,’ said Shannon. ‘Hope it helps someone else that’s been in the same position as me.’
