Christmas starter recipes
It's the one time of year to really go all out - so why not have starters with your Christmas dinner?
Top tips for Christmas starters
Not too big
We all know how much food there is on Christmas Day so the last thing you need is a massive starter. A small, delicate portion is more than enough - and it means you won't add to the Christmas food leftovers.
Not too filling
You don't want to spend all that time on Christmas dinner only for everyone to get
full on the starter. Heavy soups, rich tarts and chunky breads can often be more filling than they look so take that into consideration when planning your starter.
Not too complicated
You'll have so much going on on the big day, you don't want to add to your tasks by choosing a complicated starter. To make life easier, you could always opt for a starter that you can make in advance and keep in the fridge/freezer until you need it - you'll thank yourself later!
Small, not too filling and nice and simple, your Christmas starter should be a delicious addition to your meal. Save any you like the look of in a Christmas collection in your Recipe Book.
